Lots of quotes 🔗

After running the popular ski site DCSki.com for eight years, I seem to be becoming an "expert" on mid-Atlantic skiing and am now asked to provide quotes for a number of traditional publications on a fairly regular basis. Seeing my name in print on my own site is not too exciting, but when I see my name in print in the Washington Post -- with its 2.5 million readers -- a small shiver does go down my spine.

Already this winter, I've been quoted in the Washington Post twice (most recently in an article about snow tubing published on January 9, 2005), and on January 17, an article by Andrea Nurko in the GW Hatchet quoted me extensively, and included one of my photos from Whitetail. (The Hatchet is the independent student newspaper at George Washington University. Registration is required to view beyond the first page of the article.) My site was also mentioned in the December, 2004 issue of Washingtonian magazine, where I was one of three judges to rate the best ski resorts in the mid-Atlantic for their "Best of Washington" issue. I've also been mentioned on WTOP News and NPR's Kojo Nnamdi Show in recent weeks.

Now, I just wish I had more free time to actually ski instead of just talking about skiing.
